Brand Amplifier, a charity founded in 2009, offering an intensive scholarship programme teaching the art of branding is calling for applications from female entrepreneurs.

The four-week brand strategy scholarship programme is being supported by J.P Morgan, and will feature the transformation of a new business hub within the borough of Lambeth.

The programme is open to all female-run companies within London looking to take their business to the next level. Businesses at any stage are welcome to apply – whether it is at launch, angel investor funding, or rebrand stage.

Mentors and judges on the programme include Sky News broadcasters, BBC property experts, brand strategists and design consultancy entrepreneurs.

Twenty-eight finalists will be selected to receive high-level brand training free of charge, culminating in a pitch panel to win seed funding for their business.

Applicants can literally pitch their way on to the programme via the online form by showcasing the quality of their business, its commercial viability as well as the passion and conviction of the entrepreneur.

Brand Amplifier’s mission is single-minded and consistent: empower entrepreneurs by helping their businesses thrive in a tough economy and provide employment. Brand Amplifier’s Founder Jeannette Pritchard, explains: “With 5 editions and 77 alumni whose businesses have been transformed, Brand Amplifier has boosted confidence, brand focus and results for all women taking part in the programme. To date, programme graduates have sustained an astounding 85% success rate thanks to the advice, camaraderie and invaluable networking support provided during their early start-up phase”.

Brand Amplifier Offer Female Entrepreneurs Free Opportunity

All types of businesses are welcome to apply, with graduates from various industries including technology, wellness, social enterprise and event services. Participants learn how to effectively amplify the reach and voice of their business, reaching their target audiences, securing financial investment and even achieving national and international media exposure. Recent alumni have been featured on Channel 4’s Four Rooms and BBC’s The One Show. 100% of BA alumni recommend the programme’s effectiveness in growing their brands and their confidence.

Mentoring and networking play a key part in the programme but the focus is on education, harnessing the know-how of inspiring women who have succeeded themselves, and who are generous with advice, opinions and constructive criticism that first-time entrepreneurs need in order to succeed.

Brand Amplifier are keen to partner with SME’s to create huge economic and social uplift for key priority groups. Jeannette explains: “Our philosophy is that established SMEs can and should support the success of emerging entrepreneurs, and we’re experts at delivering measurable, meaningful and high-performance CSR programmes, to boost the survival and success of entrepreneurs in their key priority areas”.
