Five For Friday Interview with Sok, Cambodia

Sok from Cambodia, is a teacher with Epic Arts, an NGO that works with disabled and non disabled students to reach their potential.  Sok is incredibly passionate about the importance of an inclusive education, Sok lost both arms in a Land mine accident at the age 7 and has faced many years of exclusion but has never lost his dream to become a teacher.

1. What is the one cause you wish more people knew about?

I wish more people would see ability not disability. People say to me I have no arms but this hasn’t stopped me, I can drive a motorbike, work in an office, play football, do everything I set out to achieve. Epic Arts promotes this message of inclusive education and that every person counts.
