A great story about the Trussell Trust, via Fundraising.co.uk, which really demonstrates the power of people (and social media!).
The Trussell Trust works to empower local communities to combat poverty and exclusion in the UK and Bulgaria. Founded in 1997, The Trussell Trust focused on improving conditions for the 60+ children sleeping at Central Railway Station in Bulgaria. The Trust’s work soon expanded not only in Bulgaria, but in the UK too.
