While walking around his community (in Lincoln, Nebraska) Pepe Fierro noticed the large number of people who were commuting by foot. This led Pepe to start collecting and repairing old bicycles. Before long the The Lincoln Bike Kitchen was born.
Free Bicycles For the Community
The Lincoln Bike Kitchen, run entirely by volunteers and supported by donations from the community, provides refurbished bikes and parts to community members so anyone who wants to cycle can do so – for free.
