Jesse Stone founded the Inner City Kayaking Camp after 9/11. “I was really inspired to do something positive for inner city youth in New York because I thought, ‘if I was a kid growing up in this city I would feel very dismal about my future having witnessed this event.”
Exposing young people to a new activity that they wouldn’t have been able to try otherwise, Jesse also gives the young people the chance to learn some valuable life skills through kayaking.
