Is there a space in your local area that you’d like to see improved? If you are aged between 16 and 24 and live in the UK, there’s a chance for you to receive up to £5,000 to help you do just this.

The #Spaces4Change programme by UnLtd is offering 100 awards for young leaders and collectives from the end of 2016 until 2019. The awards include up to £5,000 of project funding, dedicated award managers to provide tailored support, cohort support and peer-to-peer networking opportunities.

£5,000 Grant Available for Young People to Transform a Space

Whether it’s an empty shop, an unused park space, or just somewhere you walk past everyday that could be transformed, #Spaces4Change is a great opportunity to make a massive positive impact on your local community.

#Spaces4Change is open to a huge range of social venture ideas too – from retail, to pop-ups, to performance spaces, somewhere for healthy living or sport, a workshop or something else entirely!

If you are looking for some inspiration of how a space can be transformed, UnLtd has previously supported the Lamlash Gardens project in Elephant & Castle, London.

You’ll need to be quick if you want to express an interest as the first deadline is January 15th 2017. For more details about the #Spaces4Change programme please click here.
