Margaret Green Animal Rescue are saying a big THANK YOU to their generous supporters following the success of their shoebox appeal.

The charity asked for treats, toys and goodies in a shoebox or small container so that all the pets with them over the Christmas holidays could join in with the fun and have something special of their own to open on Christmas Day.
Generous donations meant that every single pet had something to open on Christmas Day, with many getting special treats throughout the holidays.
None of the animals were missed out, even the chickens had Christmas presents to open!
Niki Ging said, “the shoe boxes have given us some fun, not just delivering them and seeing the pets open them, but also just like children, the cats enjoyed playing in the boxes just as much as the presents inside them”
