Every Saturday throughout the summer Holidays, the National Videogame Museum will be running a Virtual PixelHeads Saturday club – and you’re invited!

Pixelheads is a community for young people who want to learn about, talk about and even create videogames. The Museum is working on their reopening and hope to launch Pixelheads clubs inside the museum as soon as they can, but in the meantime wanted to find a way to kickstart this community.

Starting at 11am on Saturday 25th July, and every week until Saturday August 29th, the museum’s Learning Officer will be hosting a livestream all about playing, talking and making games. To take part, all you need to do is tune in at 11am every Saturday on this YouTube channel.

With their parents’ permission, the kids can also join in the conversation too! The National Videogame Museum will be asking for your suggestions, recommendations and more through the YouTube chat function and on their social channels. Together you’ll even be creating a videogame over the 6 weeks!

The National Videogame Museum, run by charity BGI, educates the public about the art, science, history and technology of videogames. Find out more here.
