The Good News Shared Food for Thought Social Enterprise Cafe Series presents… Change Please
We recently spotted a Change Please coffee cart near The Shard and London Bridge Station thanks to the sign ‘Reducing homelessness one coffee at a time’.
Change Please, the result of a partnership between Old Spike Roastery and The Big Issue, have trained a group of homeless people as baristas so they can sell fresh coffee from mobile carts.

The Change Please Story
Change Please has been started by Cemal Ezel, co-founder of the Old Spike Roastery, a social enterprise café and coffee roastery in Peckham Rye, South London. Launched in November 2015, Ezel hopes to have a lot more Change Please coffee carts in time, so look out for more opening near you soon!
