Leeds SOUP give Community Chance to Back Local Projects

On Thursday the 27th August 2015, Leeds SOUP will be hosting their first charity event. Based on the highly popular Detroit SOUP, the purpose of the quarterly event is to help support and celebrate local community projects through grassroots micro funding. The event provides a platform for people to pitch ideas for projects that will benefit Leeds. Attendees have the opportunity to vote for one of the pitches; money is raised through the purchase of a meal and the winning project is given the money raised throughout the night.

Leeds SOUP offers an exciting opportunity for community-based discussion and collaboration (in addition to a delicious meal!) in order to provide benefits to the local area.
